Salary: $160,000 - $210,000 per year A bit about us: We are revolutionizing the way businesses gain access to their funds in a everchanging and complex space of digital payments. We're looking to hire experience Python developers to our team as we continue to grow and scale out our core product. You'll be responsible for building python-based applications that handle a variety of functions, including payment tracking through various bank systems, payment portals, hedge funds, etc. This role will wear multiple hats, also helping to improve some cloud security functions as it pertains to financial compliance, and improve our data pipeline and streaming functions on our core product. We're looking for folks with 3+ years of experience in the fintech / financial services space, who love solving complex problems and developing / architecting robust Python applications! Why join us? Job Details Responsibilities: As a Senior Python Engineer, your primary responsibilities will include: 1. Designing, coding, testing, and debugging complex financial software applications using Python.
2. Utilizing data streaming tools such as Spark, Flink, Kinesis, etc., to handle real-time data processing.
3. Working with cloud services like AWS, GCP, or Azure to ensure the scalability and reliability of our systems.
4. Understanding and implementing financial concepts within the technology solutions we build.
5. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
6. Providing technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and contributing to the team's continuous improvement efforts.
7. Ensuring the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
8. Identifying and correcting bottlenecks and fixing bugs. Qualifications: To be considered for this role, you must possess the following qualifications: 1. 5+ years of Python development experience.
2. Proven experience with data streaming tools such as Spark, Flink, Kinesis, etc.
3. Solid experience with cloud services (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
4. A strong understanding of financial concepts and their application within technology solutions.
5. 3+ years of experience building software for businesses in the Fintech or Financial Services space.
6. Strong problem-solving skills with a knack for complex challenges.
7. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
8. A bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
