The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a variety of accounting functions including audit, consolidations, and financial reporting. This Senior Accountant role is a permanent position offering a competitive salary and benefits package. Oversee and manage the general accounting functions, including, but not limited to: general ledger etc. Manage the monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting. Coordinate and complete annual audits; Responsible for the preparation and consolidation of financial statements. Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements. Assist with strategic financial planning including budgeting, financial risk management, and forecasting. Work closely with the financial management team to establish and implement short-term and long-term financial goals, objectives, policies, and operating procedures. Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to ensure all financial transactions are executed according to legal requirements. Participate in cross-functional projects and assist other finance teams with ad-hoc requests. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. A minimum of 2 years of experience in public accounting or real estate industry with an emphasis on financial reporting, audit, and consolidations, preffered. In-depth knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced Excel skills. Familiarity with accounting software and databases. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a high level of accuracy in preparing and entering financial information. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and the ability to build relationships with stakeholders, including staff, board members, and external partners. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
