This position is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated individual who is driven by problem-solving, embraces technical challenges, and is passionate about maintaining the highest standards of safety and efficiency in our state-of-the-art facilities. The successful candidate will be responsible for the electrical and mechanical maintenance of our equipment and systems, ensuring smooth and optimized operations. Perform routine and preventative maintenance of electrical, mechanical, and PLC controlled systems to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime. Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair faults in electrical and mechanical systems, including PLCs, wiring, and other related equipment. Interpret electrical and mechanical schematics and technical manuals to assist in troubleshooting and equipment repair. Conduct regular inspections of machinery and equipment to identify potential issues and carry out necessary repairs or replacements. Collaborate with the engineering team to develop and implement maintenance strategies and procedures. Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety regulations and standards. Document all maintenance and repair work for record-keeping and future reference. Assist in the training of junior technicians and provide guidance as needed. Proven expertise in electrical and mechanical maintenance, including PLCs and wiring. Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults. Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical and mechanical schematics. Experience in performing preventative maintenance and developing maintenance strategies. Excellent knowledge of safety regulations and procedures in the maintenance field. Technical degree or certification in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, or a related field, is preferred.
