Job Details

Electrical Maintenance: Provide on-shift maintenance of electrical systems, utilizing expertise in industrial electricity and PLCs, on a rotating swing shift.

Safety Focus: Follow all maintenance JSA’s and adhere to SSAB’s safety policies to ensure a secure working environment.

Troubleshooting Expertise: Maintain and troubleshoot medium and low voltage control systems, power distribution, and electrical equipment in Reheat, Rolling Mill, Finishing, and Shipping areas.

Advanced Skills: Utilize PLC’s for diagnosing plant equipment problems, implement software changes to enhance processes, and engineer, design, install, and commission new equipment and control systems.

Qualifications Required:
Strong electrical background
Minimum of 5 years of industrial electrical experience
PLC programming and troubleshooting skills
AC and DC Digital Drive experience
Ability to read electrical and mechanical schematics
