Job Details
  • Provide senior-level leadership and strategic direction for a multi-million dollar capital improvement program at an international airport.
  • Lead a team responsible for delivering projects within the capital program, overseeing planning, budgeting, scheduling, contract management, and construction.
  • Represent the airport owner as an extension of their staff, building strong relationships and identifying opportunities.
  • Implement program management best practices, processes, and tools to ensure effective project delivery and integration.
  • Proactively identify and mitigate program and project risks and issues.
  • Oversee bid processes, contract awards, design reviews, permits, and payments for architecture/engineering firms.
  • Facilitate project meetings and ensure clear communication among all stakeholders.
  • Monitor contractor performance, schedule, budget, quality, and safety.
  • Ensure adherence to capital program policies, standards, and procedures.
  • Maintain required project documentation and reporting per program guidelines.
  • Work collaboratively with other program team members to meet goals and deadlines.
  • Accurately record time and expenses using company systems.
  • Utilize construction software tools like Procore and Primavera P6.
  • Provide technical input and advice based on engineering experience.
  • Travel to project sites and attend client and public meetings.
  • Understand local cultural, political, and community context.
  • Primary location is owner's facilities in Indianapolis, Indiana.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, architecture, construction management, or related field.
  • 10+ years of project management experience, with a focus on large capital improvement programs.
  • Demonstrated program management experience with large public/government clients is required.
  • Professional engineering or architecture license is highly preferred.
  • Valid driver's license with clean record, insurable under company policy.
