About the Position:

The Telehealth Licensed Psychologist at is responsible for providing the highest levels of Addiction and Mental Health treatment services in a telehealth treatment facility. Telehealth Licensed Psychologists are responsible for providing individual and group counseling services to patients and families. The Telehealth Licensed Psychologist works as part of an Interdisciplinary team helping to develop individualized treatment plans for each patient, facilitating its focus, goals, and execution. The Telehealth Licensed Psychologist will carry a case load of patients and work diligently to help each patient find their path to recovery and change. This position covers outpatient and intensive outpatient caseloads in a telehealth setting.

The Telehealth Licensed Psychologist plays a critical role in the delivery of care. Telehealth Licensed Psychologists are responsible for developing rapport with patients to effectively assess, address and treat Addiction and Mental Health Disorders. Concurrently, the Telehealth Licensed Psychologist is responsible for helping patients address issues related to family dynamics, self-esteem, life skills, and other issues.

The Telehealth Licensed Psychologist also works closely with the Residential Team to support with family therapy and clients transitioning to lower levels of care in the telehealth setting.

Qualifications: The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

Education: This position requires a doctorate in Psychology (Psy D or PHD) from an accredited college or university, and to hold an active license to practice as a psychologist. Licensed psychologist must be a either a member of the PsyPact or eligible to join. Experience: This position requires 2 plus years’ experience in the treatment of individuals with Addiction and Mental Health Issues, at any level of care – RTC, PHP or IOP. Trauma therapy experience preferred but not required. Knowledge of clinical assessments preferred but not required.

Special Skills & Knowledge: Exceptional verbal and written skills are required to effectively express ideas and views when (a) speaking to groups, staff, outside professionals and corporate officers; (b) for preparing written reports; (c.) data input. Must possess initiative and judgment capabilities to organize and plan activities, systematize procedures, promote favorable public relations and make decisions affecting service delivery to consumers. Must be flexible to adjust to changing conditions and the various details of the job. Basic computer skills are required with Microsoft Office Suite and web-based products knowledge a bonus. Current credentials as licensed Psychologist/PsyD. Addiction credentials/certifications preferred but not required.
