Each member of our professional and support staff is dedicated to this ideal – physicians, nurses, technicians, and support personnel. The  Centralized Scheduler will provide scheduling, surgical and financial instructions to patients, while supporting the Physician(s) and enforcing the collection policy and procedures for CareMount Medical. Provide patient appointment and procedure scheduling on telephone, and scheduling maintenance of surgeries for one or more Physicians Must possess solid interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with patients, co-workers, Management Staff, and Physicians  Assist with staff scheduling and assist manager as needed Provide surgical instructions, communicate patient financial responsibility  Demonstrate professionalism in appearance and actions with patients, staff, Physicians and Administrators always The Scheduler assures that patients have all information they need so that they will arrive on time and prepared for their procedures and that the hospital has all the information required to bill properly for its services  Provides accurate information so that all departments may view and print the schedule for the appointments daily, and maintains open communication with hospital departments regarding schedule changes  You’ll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in. 1+ years of customer service experience in a medical/healthcare setting ~ Intermediate level of computer proficiency ~ Demonstrated ability to multi-task in busy medical practice   New York Residents Only: The salary range for New York residents is $16.27 per hour .
