This includes managing a team of designers, developing design strategies, coordinating with other departments, and ensuring all designs align with company standards and objectives. Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the design team, providing guidance, feedback, and encouragement to ensure high-quality design output.
- Develop and execute design strategies that align with the company's objectives and brand identity.
- Oversee the entire design process, from conceptualization to final production.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as marketing and production, to ensure designs meet requirements and are feasible for production.
- Utilize CAD, Artios, and other design software to create, modify, and optimize designs.
- Ensure all designs comply with industry regulations and standards.
- Handle packaging and corrugate design processes, ensuring optimal functionality and aesthetics.
- Monitor industry trends and advancements, incorporating new and innovative design techniques as appropriate.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely completion and adherence to budget constraints.
- Continually evaluate design processes and strategies, making improvements or changes as necessary.
- Bachelor's degree in Design, Engineering, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in a design management role within the Manufacturing industry.
- Proficiency in design software, including CAD and Artios.
- Extensive experience with packaging and corrugate design.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- High attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of industry regulations and standards related to design.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively.
- Ability to take initiative and work independently, as well as part of a team.
- Continual learner, staying updated on industry trends and advancements.
