Job Details

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide legal representation and advice to clients regarding employment law matters, including workplace discrimination, harassment, wage and hour disputes, and wrongful termination.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate employment contracts, severance agreements, and non-compete clauses.
  • Represent clients in employment-related litigation, including appearing in state and federal courts and before administrative agencies such as the EEOC.
  • Conduct investigations and legal research about complex employment law issues.
  • Advise clients on compliance with state and federal labor laws and regulations.
  • Work collaboratively with other attorneys and staff to manage cases efficiently and effectively.
Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
  • Licensed to practice law in the state of Texas.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in employment law.
  • Strong litigation experience, including trial preparation and court appearances.
  • Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to client service.
