Job Details

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to join our dynamic finance team. As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for managing the general ledger (GL) accounting functions within the distribution and install segments of our company.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain the general ledger for companies largest product line, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with accounting standards.
  • Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes for the distribution segment, including the preparation of journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statements.
  • Assist with intercompany transactions and reconciliations between various entities within the company.
  • Work closely with the GL team to ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions and maintain proper documentation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the consolidation process and ensure accurate financial reporting across all segments.
  • Prepare and review accruals and prepayments, ensuring proper recognition and adherence to company policies.
  • Utilize ERP systems such as Oracle, OneStream, and Hyperion (similar to OneStream) for reporting, and consolidation purposes.
- Provide support during audits, both internal and external, by preparing schedules, answering inquiries, and assisting in the resolution of audit findings.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • CPA designation is highly preferred.
  • Highly prioritizing candidate with at least 2 years of public accounting experience
  • Exposure to ERP systems, such as Oracle, OneStream, or Hyperion is highly preferred
