We are seeking a Regional Controller in the industrial construction sector to join our team at either our Louisville, KY or Franklin, TN office. Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), the Regional Controller will support the Vice President of Group Operations and oversee accounting operations while generating financial statements. Responsibilities include maintaining documented accounting policies, ensuring compliance with financial controls, and directing all accounting and operational functions. Additionally, the Regional Controller will manage the performance of direct reports.

Qualifications:
  • 7+ years of relevant financial experience, including supervising others.
  • College Diploma or bachelor’s degree in a related field.
  • Advanced proficiency with Excel and financial reporting software.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to work varied and additional hours during closing and budgeting periods.
  • Construction industry or a project-based accounting background required.
  • CPA preferred but not required.

Job Details
  • Enhance and refine financial systems to ensure data accuracy and reliability.
  • Oversee the preparation of regular financial reports, ensuring compliance with GAAP, ASPE, CAS, and internal controls.
  • Propose key metrics and benchmarks to evaluate both operational and financial performance.
  • Collaborate with divisional operations to assess results, work-in-progress (WIP), and financials, and contribute to the annual forecast and budgeting process for specific regions.
  • Assist the Group Vice President in strategic assessments and operational enhancements.
  • Conduct financial analysis and provide variance explanations to the operations team, Vice President of Finance, and Chief Financial Officer (CFO).
  • Coordinate with external auditors to address any issues and facilitate scheduled audits.
  • Ensure timely filing of quarterly and annual reports as mandated.
