Large manufacturer based in Chicago is looking for an HRIS Manager! Hybrid work schedule (Dec / Jan / Feb - Winter fully remote months) The Human Resource Information Services (HRIS) Manager will be responsible for managing the development, implementation, and maintenance of our HR Technology (Ceridian Dayforce) resources in collaboration with the HR Operations, benefits, compensation, payroll/finance, and IT functions. Lead governance and optimization of Dayforce, including project management of planned enhancements to achieve our business and HR goals. Manage the relationship with vendors and consultants, as primary point of contact for service level agreements and issue resolution. Provide project management and strategic direction to key HRIS projects which includes HR HCM, Security, Workflows, Payroll, Benefits, Performance, Recruiting, Onboarding, HR interfaces and other HR automation initiatives. Responsible for the strategic planning and configuration review in preparation for a relaunch of the Dayforce platform. Interact with internal clients to gather and document detailed requirements for system enhancements and the development of HRIS processing standards. Responsible for the design, development and implementation of reporting, compliance and analytics related to employee data. Perform HRIS application troubleshooting and support for members of the HR team, escalating issues to internal and / or external technical resources when necessary. Responsible for developing strict, no exception standards for maintaining data integrity, security, user, and ticket administration. Proactively work with end-users to provide support planning for future releases, implementation, migration planning, upgrade, testing and stability maintenance. Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with Oil Dri’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; and addressing complaints and resolving problems. BA/BS or the equivalent combination of education/experience and a minimum of ten years’ experience in computerized data management and experience leading projects is required. Full life cycle HRIS implementation and Project Management experience required. Thorough understanding of human resources data and how it relates to the success of the enterprise Strong HR & software skills, including Dayforce and Microsoft Suite Advanced time management and analytical skills. Strong project management, implementation & change management skills
