Job Details

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Staff Accountant with Automotive Dealership Experience to join a growing accounting team. As a Staff Accountant, you will be responsible for generating monthly financial statements, daily bank account reconciliations, petty cash journal entries, and managing the General Ledger. The ideal candidate must have at least 2+ years of experience in dealership accounting.

Responsibilities:

  • Generate monthly financial statements and ensure accurate reporting of financial data
  • Conduct daily bank account reconciliations and maintain accurate records of all transactions
  • Manage petty cash journal entries and ensure timely and accurate recording of all expenses
  • Maintain the General Ledger and ensure all accounts are reconciled on a monthly basis
  • Assist with annual financial audits and ensure all documentation is prepared and organized
  • Provide support to the accounting team as needed and assist with special projects as assigned
  • Ensure compliance with all accounting policies and procedures
Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
  • 2+ years of experience in dealership accounting
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and accounting software
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload
