The Permanent Scheduler will be responsible for managing all aspects of project scheduling, from the initial planning stages to the final project completion. Job Details

Responsibilities

1. Develop comprehensive construction schedules, including all project phases, milestones, and deliverables.
2. Monitor project progress and make necessary adjustments to the schedule to ensure timely completion.
3. Conduct regular cost analyses and prepare financial reports to keep stakeholders informed about the project's financial status.
4. Manage all purchase orders, invoices, and supplier contracts to ensure that all financial transactions are accurately recorded and processed.
5. Prepare detailed cost budgets and utilize cost codes to track project expenditures.
6. Utilize EAC (Estimate at Completion) cycles and WIP (Work in Progress) reports to monitor project costs and forecast future expenses.
7. Ensure compliance with FAR (Federal Acquisition Regulations) and DCAA (Defense Contract Audit Agency) guidelines.
8. Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure that all project activities are aligned with the overall project schedule.
9. Provide accurate cost estimations for future projects to aid in the decision-making process.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Finance, or a related field.
2. A minimum of 3 years of experience in construction scheduling or a similar role.
3. Extensive knowledge of financial principles and practices, including budgeting, cost analysis, and financial reporting.
4. Proficiency in using scheduling software and other project management tools.
5. Excellent understanding of construction processes and project management principles.
6. Familiarity with FAR, DCAA, and other relevant regulations and guidelines.
7. Strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and produce accurate project forecasts.
8. Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with team members at all levels.
9. Detail-oriented, with strong organizational and time management skills.
10. Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and work under tight deadlines.
