We are seeking a dynamic, highly skilled, and passionate individual to join our team as a Permanent Real Estate Tax Manager. This is a unique opportunity to work in a fast-paced, challenging, and rewarding environment within the finance industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the tax aspects of our real estate portfolio, ensuring compliance with all relevant tax laws and regulations, and providing expert advice on tax planning and strategy. This role requires a deep understanding of real estate tax law, excellent client management skills, and the ability to provide top-notch tax services. Manage and oversee all aspects of our real estate tax portfolio, including tax planning, preparation, and compliance. Stay updated on current tax laws and regulations related to real estate and ensure our organization's compliance. Provide expert advice and guidance on tax matters to senior management and clients. Work closely with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored tax solutions. Manage and resolve any tax-related issues or disputes that may arise. Prepare and review tax returns and related documents. Manage 1031 Exchanges and other complex real estate tax transactions. Develop and implement effective tax strategies to minimize tax liabilities and maximize profitability. Collaborate with other team members and departments to ensure seamless and efficient tax operations. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A Master's degree in Taxation or a related field is preferred. Minimum of 4 years of experience in a tax manager role, preferably in the real estate sector. In-depth knowledge of real estate tax law and regulations. Proven experience in tax preparation, tax compliance, and providing tax services. Strong technical knowledge of tax rules and regulations. Experience with 1031 Exchanges and other complex real estate tax transactions. Excellent client management skills, with a proven track record of building and maintaining strong client relationships. Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines. Proficiency in tax software and other relevant computer applications.
