We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Permanent Attorney specializing in Trust and Estate. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a variety of tasks related to trust and estate planning, corporate and tax planning, high net worth estate administration, and probate. This is a unique opportunity to join a dynamic legal team and work on complex and challenging legal matters that require a high level of expertise and knowledge. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in trust and estate law, with a focus on providing exceptional legal advice and service to our clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive legal advice to clients on matters related to trust and estate planning, corporate and tax planning, high net worth estate administration, and probate.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of legal documents, including wills, trusts, estate plans, and tax planning documents.
  • Represent clients in probate court proceedings and handle all aspects of estate administration, including the preparation and filing of probate documents, the settlement of estate debts, and the distribution of estate assets.
  • Conduct in-depth legal research and analysis to stay abreast of changes in trust and estate law and to develop innovative legal strategies for our clients.
  • Collaborate with other members of the legal team to ensure the effective and efficient delivery of legal services.
  • Maintain the highest standards of professional conduct and ethics in all interactions with clients, colleagues, and court personnel.
Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience as a practicing attorney, with a focus on trust and estate law.
  • Admission to the state bar.
  • Demonstrated expertise in corporate and tax planning, high net worth estate administration, and probate.
  • Excellent legal research, writing, and negotiation skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
  • The ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, meet tight deadlines, and work under pressure.
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • A commitment to maintaining the highest standards of confidentiality, professionalism, and ethical conduct.
