This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional to take on a leadership role and contribute to the financial health and growth of our company. As a Permanent Controller, you will be responsible for overseeing all financial activities. Managing and overseeing the daily operations of the accounting department, including accounts payable/receivable, cash receipts, general ledger, payroll and utilities, treasury, budgeting, cash forecasting, revenue and expenditure variance analysis, capital assets reconciliations, check runs, fixed asset activity, debt activity etc. Monitoring and analyzing accounting data and produce financial reports or statements. Establishing and enforcing proper accounting methods, policies, and principles. Meeting financial accounting objectives. Implementing and ensuring compliance with financial regulations and standards. Preparing and presenting financial reports and risk analysis. Managing the processing of all contract billing, including AIA invoicing. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Proficiency in Sage and other accounting software. Experience with AIA invoicing, accounts payable, and accounts receivable. Advanced knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting best practices, laws, standards, and state/national regulations. Strong leadership qualities and a team player mentality.
