We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Contract Breast Imaging Radiologist to join our dynamic medical team. The successful candidate will be responsible for interpreting medical images, diagnosing illnesses, and recommending treatment. The role requires a deep understanding of both normal and abnormal medical images, and the ability to communicate findings to the broader medical team and patients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Breast Imaging, Body Imaging, and overall Radiology. This position offers a unique opportunity to work with a multidisciplinary team, providing top-tier patient care while also contributing to the ongoing advancement of our radiology department.

Responsibilities:

  • Interpret and report on medical images such as X-rays, CT scans, ultrasounds, and MRIs.
  • Diagnose breast cancer and other abnormalities in the breast using mammograms, ultrasounds, and MRIs.
  • Collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals to discuss patient history, imaging findings, and possible diagnoses.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary meetings to discuss patient diagnoses and treatment plans.
  • Provide consultation to other physicians on the interpretation of imaging examinations.
  • Maintain accurate, detailed reports and records.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in radiology and breast imaging.
  • Uphold patient care standards by adhering to confidentiality and professional conduct guidelines.
  • Comply with all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Qualifications:

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree or equivalent.
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Radiology.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in Breast Imaging and Body Imaging.
  • Subspecialty training in Breast Imaging is highly desirable.
  • Proficient in the use of modern radiology equipment and software.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex medical information to patients and their families.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a team, as well as independently.
  • Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
  • Ability to work in a high-pressure environment while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
  • Knowledge of current laws, regulations, and ethics in medical practice.
  • Strong commitment to patient care and safety.
