We are seeking a passionate and experienced Family Law Paralegal to join our dynamic legal team. This permanent position offers an exciting opportunity to work closely with our attorneys, providing high-quality legal support and service to our clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of family law, excellent communication skills, and a proven ability to conduct legal research and prepare legal documentation. If you are a certified paralegal with a passion for family law and a desire to make a difference, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities:

1. Provide comprehensive paralegal support to our family law attorneys, including drafting and filing legal documents, conducting legal research, and preparing case files.
2. Communicate effectively with clients, witnesses, court officials, and other attorneys, both orally and in writing.
3. Assist in the preparation of pleadings, motions, and discovery requests and responses.
4. Maintain an organized case management system, ensuring all deadlines are met and documentation is accurately filed.
5. Conduct client interviews and maintain direct contact with clients, providing updates and information as needed.
6. Attend court hearings and trials as required, taking detailed notes and providing immediate assistance to attorneys.
7. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of changes in family law and court procedures.

Qualifications:

1. Paralegal certification is required.
2. Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Family Law Paralegal.
3. Proficient in legal research and document preparation.
4. Strong understanding of family law and court procedures.
5. Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
7. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
8. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and legal software applications.
9. Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion.
10. Proven ability to interact effectively with clients, attorneys, court officials, and other members of the legal community.
