We are seeking a dynamic, experienced, and dedicated individual to join our team as the Permanent Director or VP of Quality and Food Safety (DOE). This is an exciting opportunity to lead, develop, and implement our global quality and food safety programs. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that our products meet and exceed the highest standards of quality, safety, and customer satisfaction. This role will be instrumental in maintaining our reputation as a leader in the engineering industry.

Responsibilities

1. Develop, implement, and manage the company's quality and food safety programs, ensuring compliance with USDA, HACCP, Import/Export regulations, and Quality Management.
2. Oversee compliance with international regulations such as the Japanese Food Labeling Act, Thailand's Food Act B.E. 2522, SENASICA, and COFEPRIS.
3. Direct and control all quality assurance and quality control activities across multiple locations.
4. Lead and manage a team of quality assurance and food safety professionals, providing guidance, training, and development opportunities.
5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate quality and food safety principles into the product development process.
6. Conduct regular audits and reviews of our processes and systems to identify areas for improvement.
7. Develop and implement strategies for continuous improvement in quality and food safety performance.
8. Act as the primary point of contact for all quality and food safety related issues, inquiries, and audits.
9. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, technologies, and regulations related to quality and food safety.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Engineering, or a related field. A Master's degree or higher is preferred.
2. A minimum of 8 years of experience in a leadership role in quality and food safety within the engineering industry.
3. Extensive knowledge of USDA, HACCP, Import/Export regulations, and Quality Management.
4. Experience with international regulations such as the Japanese Food Labeling Act, Thailand's Food Act B.E. 2522, SENASICA, and COFEPRIS.
5. Proven experience in managing quality and food safety programs across multiple locations.
6. Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
7. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
8. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
9. Ability to travel 30-50% as needed to support our global operations.
