As the  Pharmacy Technician – Home Delivery , you will be asked to shadow to demonstrate what right looks like as a fully proficient Technician. As permitted by state regulation, interprets providers’ prescriptions, and creates order, assesses, inputs and retrieves prescription, medical/lab and reimbursement information from computer system. Schedule :  Monday – Friday, 8:30am – 5pm for the first month for training; going forward, Monday – Friday, 9:30am – 6pm Entry, billing, and submittal of the customer’s order to fulfillment for delivery assist with operations support, training, and process improvements Contribute to updating Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and team content Creation/routing of pharmacy orders through receipt Prep and scan documents, verify member/patient data submit prescription orders in computer system May contact members/patients/providers to validate data, request payment information and establish priority of order or delivery details Extensive work experience within own function You’ll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in. Active and unrestricted State NHA CpHT license OR Nationally Certified Pharmacy Technician license via EXCPT or PTCB without restrictions OR ability to obtain license within 60 days of employment   Previous pharmacy technician or patient experience At UnitedHealth Group, our mission is to help people live healthier lives and make the health system work better for everyone.
