We are actively seeking a dynamic, driven, and experienced Accounting Supervisor to join our thriving finance team. This is a permanent, hybrid position that offers the flexibility of working both from home and in-office. Our ideal candidate will bring a blend of hands-on accounting expertise, strategic vision, and leadership acumen to drive our accounting operations to new heights.

Responsibilities:

As an Accounting Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in managing and overseeing our company's day-to-day accounting functions. Your primary responsibilities will include:

1. Supervising and mentoring a team of accountants, ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting and analysis.
2. Overseeing all accounting activities including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, lease entry, and payroll.
3. Implementing and maintaining internal financial controls and procedures.
4. Ensuring all financial transactions are properly recorded, filed, and reported.
5. Assisting with the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports.
6. Collaborating with external auditors to ensure successful audit results and compliance.
7. Contributing to the development of company financial strategies and plans.

Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications:

1. A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
2. A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the finance industry.
3. Proven experience with lease entry and other key accounting functions.
4. Strong leadership skills with a dedication to driving and achieving results.
5. Exceptional knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
6. Proficient in using accounting software and experience with a software system implementation is a plus.
7. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and ability to present financial data to a non-financial audience.
8. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
9. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage well through ambiguity and complexity.
